ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received until ­­­1:00 PM on August 5, 2025 at the Admin Building on the NC State Fairgrounds at 4285 Trinity Road, Raleigh NC 27606, Attn: Rick Stogner for the construction of the Commercial and Education Buildings Roof Replacement and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract. All proposals shall be lump sum. A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held for bidders on July 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Commercial Building at 4285 Trinity Road, Raleigh NC 27606. Interested subcontractors and suppliers are strongly encouraged to attend. An open meeting will be held in conjunction with the pre-bid meeting to identify a preferred brand alternate and the performance standards that the Owner will consider for approval on this project. In accordance with GS133-3 and SCO procedures the following item is being considered as an Alternate by the Owner for this project: clay roof tile manufactured by Ludowici. Justification will be made available to the public in writing no later than seven (7) days prior to bid date.
