Application of Duke Energy Progress, LLC, for Increase in Electric Rates, Adjustments in Electric Rate Schedules and Tariffs, and Request for an Accounting Order - Docket No. 2025-154-E Why is this Notice Important?
• The Public Service Commission of South Carolina (“Commission”) has scheduled public hearings in this case and will decide what rates Duke Energy Progress, LLC, (“DEP” or “the Company”) can charge. • DEP is requesting a rate increase and changes to the Company’s electric rates and schedules for retail electric base rates. • According to the Application, the proposed rates and charges represent an overall annual revenue increase of approximately $74.8 million. Electric rates, if approved, will be effective for service rendered on and after February 1, 2026.
