Carteret County Public School System Request for Proposals Disaster Recovery Services The Carteret County Public School System, Beaufort, NC, is requesting proposals from qualified providers for a pre-positioned multi-year contract for disaster recovery services. Following a disaster, such as a hurricane or fire, the provider would "seal the envelop" of damaged school buildings with temporary measures to retard water intrusion, dry out buildings, demolish and dispose of any water saturated or other damaged materials that are not repairable, provide mold retarding measures, thorough cleaning of interiors and exteriors, deodorize, and perform other services reasonably requested by the School System. The contract will be FEMA compliant. Proposals will be opened on July 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM at 107 Safrit Dr., Beaufort, NC 28516. The School System reserves the right to reject all proposals.
