PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSISTENCY DETERMINATION UNDER THE COASTAL ZONE MANAGEMENT ACT The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management has filed notice of a proposed action which requires review by the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state's approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act. The applicant is proposing to lease approximately 14,937 available blocks (80 million acres) in the Gulf of America Offshore Continental Shelf Region for the purposes of oil and gas exploration and production.
