CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI HEALTH FACILITIES AUTHORITY NOTICE OF MEETING PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of South Miami Health Facilities Authority (the "Issuer") will meet in public session on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the South Miami City Hall, 6130 Sunset Drive, South Miami, Florida to consider certain items relating to the proposed issuance of Revenue Bonds in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $500,000,000 (the "Bonds"), the proceeds of which will be loaned to one or more of Baptist Health South Florida, Inc. or its affiliated not for profit corporations to finance the costs of acquiring, constructing, remodeling, renovating and equipping certain health care facilities owned by such entities including: (a) holding a public hearing in connection with the Bonds as required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended; (b) adopting resolutions to authorize the issuance of the Bonds and the execution and delivery of documents in connection with the Bonds; and (c) such other business as may properly come before the Issuer at the meeting. Pursuant to Section 286.0105 of the Florida Statutes, as amended, the Issuer hereby advises that if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Issuer with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, such person will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
