Public Notice Fire Hazard Severity Zone - Ordinance No. 22 On June 18, 2025, the Cosumnes Community Service District ("District") adopted the Fire Hazard Severity Zone Ordinance No. 22 ("Ordinance"). The District designates the Fire Hazard Severity Zones as recommended by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection pursuant to Government Code Section 51178 and established by the State Fire Marshal. Pursuant to California Government Code Section 51178, the District made the Fire Hazard Severity Zone maps available to the public on March 27th, 2025. The Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its adoption. The Ordinance was passed and adopted by the District Board of Directors of the Cosumnes Community Services District at a regular meeting held June 18, 2025, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Lozano, Sakaris, Spease, Tarango, NOES: None, ABSENT: Zehnder.
