REQUEST FOR BIDS ON TRAVELING SCREENS – RIDENBAUGH CANAL HEADWORKS MODERNIZATION PROJECT for the Nampa Meridian Irrigation District (NMID). RSCI is the Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) hereby requesting that Traveling Screen Suppliers submit Bid Proposals pursuant to Idaho Statue 54-4511 for the above project including but not limited to Minority Business Enterprise, Women Business Enterprise, Veteran Business Enterprise, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms. This is a canal headworks improvement project to replace aging components of the Ridenbaugh headworks and utilize modern technology to secure the long-term delivery of water through the Ridenbaugh Canal, improve operations and maintenance, and minimize safety risks to NMID staff. The project includes a new Crest Gate Structure, Ogee Wier, and Intake Canal with Screens and associated improvements, appurtenances, and supporting electrical and controls systems.
Screen Suppliers will be responsible to provide services under a purchase agreement with RSCI or NMID, including but not limited to some design assistance and integration, participation in regular meetings, and early development of a complete submittal package with all necessary engineering. Upon completion of the design and full approval and funding of the project, equipment orders will be released to proceed with fabrication and delivery. After the equipment is installed, Suppliers will be responsible for complete startup, participation in detailed commissioning of equipment, along with any corresponding performance testing and issuance of warranties.
This project includes federal funding through a WaterSMART Grant from the Bureau of Reclamation. Special Federal Conditions apply to this project including those imposed by the Build American, Buy America (BABA) Act.

Bid Proposals shall be submitted via email to Zeke Johnson at zeke@rscigroup.com, and must be RECEIVED NOT LATER THAN 10:00 A.M. (local time) on July 24, 2025. Bids received after the date and time set for receipt will be REJECTED. Facsimile and Hard Copy Proposals will NOT be accepted.
