The name will change to Faithlyn-Vayda Nan Price. The reason for the change in name is: The reason we want to change the child's name is because Faithlyn currently goes by the name of "Vayda." There is deep religious significance to the name Vayda for the Price family. Petitioners and Faithlyn would like to official incorporate the name "Vayda" into Faithlyn's legal name so that it is easier for Faithlyn to explain to her school teachers and friends why she prefers to be called Vayda. . A hearing on the petition is scheduled for 9:30am on August 28, 2025at the Ada County Courthouse. Objections may be filed by any person who can show the court a good reason against the name change.
