[ORD-19-25] OF THE CITY OF BOISE CITY, IDAHO PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the city of Boise City, Idaho, adopted at its regular meeting of June 24, 2025, that Ordinance No. [ORD-19-25] entitled: AN ORDINANCE REPEALING BOISE CITY CODE TITLE 3, CHAPTER 6, ENTITLED "CHILDCARE FACILITIES"; AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 1, ARTICLE A, ENTITLED "BUSINESS LICENSES GENERALLY" TO STRIKE REFERENCES TO CHILDCARE WORKER AND CHILDCARE FACILITY FROM SECTIONS 3 AND 4; REPEALING TITLE 5, CHAPTER 12, SECTION 52, ENTITLED "ADD CHAPTER 40, CHILDCARE FACILITIES"; APPROVING A SUMMARY OF THE ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance repeals Title 3, Chapter 6 of the Boise City Code, entitled, "Childcare Facilities." It amends Title 3, Chapter 1, Article A, Sections 3 and 4 of the Boise City Code, entitled Business Licenses Generally," to strike all references to childcare workers or childcare facilities. The ordinance repeals Title 5 Chapter 12, Section 52 of the Boise City Code, entitled "Add Chapter 40, Childcare Facilities." The ordinance establishes an ordinance effective date and approves this ordinance summary. The effective date of the ordinance is the date of its passage, approval and publication. A copy of the full text of the ordinance is available at the City Clerk's office, 150 North Capitol Boulevard, in Boise, Idaho 83701. Examination may be requested in writing or in-person during regular business hours of the City Clerk's office, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., pursuant to Idaho Code Title 50, Chapter 9, Section 01A(4).
