Notice of Proposed
Conditional Use Permit.
A public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Adjustment of the City of Modesto at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in chambers at 1010 Tenth Street, Modesto, California, regarding the application for a Conditional Use Permit CUP2025-00003 for an Assisted Living Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) in the R-1 residential zone allowing for Assisted Living Facility as a Conditional use, located at 3717 Whitfield Road.
CEQA: This project will be deemed to be Categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301: Existing Facilities of the CEQA guidelines. All persons interested are invited to attend the public hearing at the above time and place and will be given an opportunity to be heard. Any interested party may appeal the decision on this application within 15 days following Board of Zoning Adjustment action. If you challenge the proposed application in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Board of Zoning Adjustment at, or prior to, the public hearing.
