The undersigned, Edward Jewell, in his capacity as Deputy City Attorney of the city of Boise City, Idaho, hereby certifies that he is a legal advisor of the City and has reviewed a copy of the attached Summary of Ordinance No. ORD-25-25 of the City of Boise City, Idaho, and has found the same to be true and complete and provides adequate notice to the public pursuant to Idaho Code § 50-901A(3).

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the city of Boise City, Idaho, adopted at its regular meeting of June 24th, 2025, that Ordinance No. ORD-25-25 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE (ZOA25-00003) AMENDING TITLE 11, BOISE CITY CODE (DEVELOPMENT CODE) TO CLARIFY TERMS, CORRECT ERRORS, AND MODIFY PROVISIONS; AMENDING TITLE 11, BOISE CITY CODE (DEVELOPMENT CODE) TO UPDATE DAYCARE USE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS, TO REGULATE TINY HOMES ON WHEELS, AND TO MODIFY THE APPROVAL CRITERIA AND PROCESS FOR HILLSIDE DEVELOPMENT PERMITS; APPROVING A SUMMARY OF THE ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR A WAIVER OF THE READING RULES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The ordinance edits Title 11 of Boise City Code (Development Code) as part of the City's continuous improvement process to the Development Code. These edits correct typos, provide greater clarity, fix inconsistencies, and make modifications to provisions in each chapter of Title 11 with the intent to improve the administration of the Development Code. The ordinance amends the Development Code to allow Tiny Homes on Wheels in certain zones and provides standards and regulations for this use. The ordinance amends Development Code provisions that regulate daycare use-specific standards to align with legislative updates. The ordinance amends the Development Code approval criteria and process for Hillside Development permits and makes edits to the Hillside Development Overlay. The revision of the Development Code by City Council upon recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission is authorized by the Local Land Use Planning Act. The ordinance provides for Council to waive the ordinance reading requirements.
The effective date of the ordinance is July 1, 2025, following publication, and the ordinance approves this ordinance summary. A copy of the full text of the Ordinance is available at the City Clerk's office, 150 North Capitol Boulevard, Boise, Idaho 83701. Examination may be requested in writing or in person during regular business hours of the City Clerk's office, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. pursuant to Section 50-901A(4), Idaho Code.
