This ordinance amends Boise City Code Title 10, Chapter 4, Section 10-4-1-6 "Definitions" to add definitions related to temporary project-specific containers and amend other definitions. This ordinance amends Boise City Code Title 10, Chapter 4, Section 10-4-2-6 "Residential Special Services" to update the types of special services as redefined. Similarly, Boise City Code Title 10, Chapter 4, Section 10-4-3-1 "Commercial Trash and Recycling Service Types" is amended to update the types of commercial services as redefined. This ordinance amends Boise City Code Title 10, Chapter 4, Section 10-4-3-2 "Commercial Trash and Recycling Containers" to update these provisions with the inclusion of temporary project-specific containers. Boise City Code Title 10, Chapter 4, Section 10-4-3-3 "Commercial Trash and Recycling Collection Frequency" is amended to update provisions regarding the collection of containers, as redefined. The amendment to Boise City Code Title 10, Chapter 4, Section 10-4-3-5 "Service Agreements for Commercial Trash and Recycling Customers" provides an new exception to certain requirements of that subsection. This ordinance amends Boise City Code Title 10, Chapter 4, Section 10-4-4-1 "General Requirements and Prohibitions" to update provisions related to construction activities and failure to receive collections. Finally, Boise City Code Title 10, Chapter 4, Section 10-4-4-2 "Franchise Agreements and Permits" is amended to note an additional exemption from franchise agreement requirements. Boise City Code Title 10, Chapter 4, Section 10-4-4-3 "Fees for Service" is amended to provide an exception to the schedule of fees. The ordinance establishes an ordinance effective date and approves this ordinance summary. The effective date of the Ordinance is the date of its passage, approval, and publication. A copy of the full text of the Ordinance is available at the City Clerk's office, 150 North Capitol Boulevard, in Boise, Idaho 83701. Examination may be requested in writing or in person during regular business hours of the City Clerk's office, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. pursuant to Idaho Code Title 50, Chapter 9, Section 01A(4).
