PRESS RELEASE Selma, California: In existence since 1927, Bethel Lutheran Home, Inc, has provided skilled nursing care, assisted living and unassisted living. California nursing homes have faced strong economic headwinds as a result of inflation, rising insurance costs, increased employee benefit costs, workforce shortage pressures, the state bed tax, inadequate reimbursement rates from the state and other costs which make it difficult to remain profitable. As result of these economic factors, Bethel Lutheran Home has recently agreed to transfer its facilities to the Jericho Care Group. The Jericho Care Group owns and operates a number of skilled nursing facilities, one assisted living facility, and one independent living facility in the Central Valley of California.
