CITY OF AVENTURA PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the Aventura City Commission Meeting, to be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Aventura Government Center (19200 W. Country Club Drive, Aventura, FL 33180), the City Commission will consider the adoption of the following ordinance on second reading entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AVENTURA, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 48 OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES BY AMENDING SECTION 48-11 "PARKING RESTRICTIONS" AND SECTION 48-12 "RESTRICTIONS ON COMMERCIAL VEHICLES OR RECREATIONAL VEHICLES" TO MODIFY THE REGULATIONS RELATING TO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES LOADING AND UNLOADING OF VEHICLES AND OTHER MATERIALS IN RESIDENTIALLY ZONED AREAS OF THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The proposed ordinance will be available online at cityofaventura.com for viewing or printing under the City Commission Meeting Agenda for July 17, 2025, or may be requested through the City Clerk's Office at (305) 466-8901 or cityclerk@cityofaventura.com. Interested parties may participate in the public hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. Any person wishing to address the City Commission on the item at the public hearing may do so after the Mayor opens the public hearing.
