PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Town will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 14th, 2025, to obtain public input on the following ordinances: Ordinance 25-04: Amending the Water, Sewer, Sanitation and Landfill Ordinance 01-11-WSSL-2, as Amended. The ordinance proposes to increase the volumetric rate on water and sewer by 5%. Ordinance 25-05: Fixing the Tax Levy of the Town of Clover, South Carolina, for the Year 2025, the time of payment and the penalties for nonpayment of said taxes and providing for issuance of Execution and Sale of Property for delinquent taxes. Due to the reassessment year of York County property values, the ordinance will roll back the operating millage from 135.5 to 129.1 and reduce the capital millage from 2.3 to 1.8. The reassessment of property values is expected to increase revenues by approximately $900,000 which will help offset increases in recurring expenses such as salaries and health insurance.
