NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – 2025.07.08 The Waxhaw Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 6:30 PM or soon thereafter in the Board Chambers of the Waxhaw Town Hall, located at 4218 Waxhaw-Marvin Road, Waxhaw, NC on the following item: • Text Amendment TA-019-2025 – Deconstruction Text Amendment TA-019-2025 is a request by the Town of Waxhaw Planning Department to amend Land Development Code (LDC) Section 12.3 (D) to allow for a deconstruction plan prior to the demolition of a structure that has been determined to be contributing to the National Register Historic District or designated as a local landmark or within a local historic district. The public is invited to attend the hearing. Substantial changes may occur to the request based on comments from the Public Hearing. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to recess the public hearing to another place and time.
