NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT
REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS
ENGINEERING SERVICES
The Town of Steilacoom is soliciting statements of qualifications and performance information from professional engineering firms interested in providing engineering services for updating the Town of Steilacoom's Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP) and performing any required studies including but not limited to studies establishing the Town's energy conservation target, efficiency target, and demand response resource potential to support target amounts in the CEIP. The CEIP is required to be prepared in accordance with standards established in RCW 19.405.060, WAC 194-40-200 and other applicable RCWs or WACs and all work performed or provided must meet these requirements.
Interested firms should have a track record of working on CEIPs and/or performing studies to support the target areas in the CEIP.
Responses are due at the Public Works office (Attn: Linda Orozco) at 1030 Roe St., Steilacoom, WA 98388 no later than 10:00 a.m. on July 16, 2025. Submittals received after this date/time will not be considered as responsive.
Three copies of the Statements of Qualifications and Experience are required (no more than 10 pages double-sided in length each) and shall include at a minimum:
A proven track record in preparing CEIPs and/or the studies for targets in the CEIP.References for which similar work was performed and description of the work performed.
Upon review of the submittals, selected firms may be invited for interviews, or the Town may negotiate directly with our top choice.
The Town of Steilacoom, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Sub Title A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration for an award.
