WHATCOM COUNTY NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR AN ADMINISTRATIVE USE PERMIT AND SHORELINE EXEMPTION Notice is hereby given that on 4/17/2025, Michael and Dawn Bath applied for an Administrative Approval and Shoreline Exemption under case numbers ADM2025-00011 & EXE2025-00025 to construct 3608 square foot 2-story single family dwelling with an attached 960 square foot attached accessory dwelling unit and 982 square foot attached garage. The application was determined complete on 5/1/2025 indicating that all submittal requirements were met. The subject property is located at 1607 Harbor Seal Drive within Section 10, Township 40, Range 53 of W.M. Assessor's parcel number(s): 4053103133650000.The application will be reviewed under the Official Whatcom County Zoning and Critical Areas Ordinances, as well as reviews by Whatcom County Planning and Development Services (Fire Marshal's Office, Natural Resources and Planning), Public Works Engineering and Health Department. The file and supporting documents may be reviewed at Whatcom County Planning and Development Services, 5280 Northwest Drive, Bellingham, WA 98226. Any person may submit written comments to Charles Sullivan the above address or at csulliva@co.whatcom.wa.us within 14 days of the publication of this notice. Written comments must be received by July 9, 2025. Any person has the right to receive notice of and participate in any hearings, request a copy of the decision once made, and to appeal a decision when allowed by law.
