Notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of Columbus, Georgia will hold a public hearing 7/9/2025 2:00PM, in the City Council Chambers located on the 2nd Floor of the C.E. "Red" McDaniel City Services Located at 3111 Citizens Way, Columbus, GA 31906, relative to requested variances or modifications from the Zoning Ordinance,
relative to property inside Columbus, Georgia, as follows:
Appeal Request at CARGILL DESIGN BUILD REMODEL, INC. for a variance from the zoning ordinance for 7025 WINTHROP CT, Columbus: Applicant is requesting to reduce the required 20' setback for a RE1 occupancy to 10'. The existing structure is to be demolished but the slab will remain which already has a 10' setback making it existing non-conforming. The property is zoned Residential Estate – 1
Appeal Request at Andrew Bastone for a variance from the zoning ordinance for 1519 16TH AVE, Columbus: Applicant is requesting variance to reduce front setback from 20' to 7.7'. The rear setback from 30' to 10.8'. To have an accessory structure in the front yard. Per section 2.2.11 of the UDO, front setbacks for RMF1 are 20', rear is 30'. Appeal request at Moon Meeks and Associates for a variance from the zoning ordinance for 3081 WILLIAMS Rd. Applicant is requesting a variance to increase the number of parking spaces for a 11,870 S/F medical office from 48 spaces which is required to, 62 total spaces.
