Open Record Hearing Date, Time, Location: The City of Pasco Hearing Examiner will conduct open record hearings at 6:00 p.m. on July 9, 2025, in the Council Chambers in Pasco City Hall at 525 N 3rd Avenue in Pasco, Washington (use Sylvester Street Parking Lot Entrance). The Hearing Examiner will consider public testimony concerning the following applications at this hearing:
ZD2025-001 Desert Bloom LLC: A public hearing to consider the establishment of zoning for unincorporated property located at Parcel No. 126160173 in Pasco, WA. In the event said property is annexed to the City of Pasco; R-4 (High Density Residential District) zoning is being considered. This zoning determination is a recommendation to City Council. 509-544-4146 / barragani@pasco-wa.gov
ZD2025-002 SG Land Management LLC: A public hearing to consider the establishment of zoning for unincorporated property located at Parcel No. 126160129 in Pasco, WA. In the event said property is annexed to the City of Pasco; R-3 (Medium Density Residential District) zoning is being considered. SP2025-009 Soriano's Daycare Center: Maria Soriano has submitted a Special Permit application for a proposed project involving the conversion of an existing single-family dwelling into a day care center serving school-age children before and after school. The residence will no longer be used for housing purposes and will function solely as a day care facility. The proposed use will accommodate 15 school-age children and 1 employee. SP2025-008 Goodwill Store/Training Center: Archibald & Company Architects, PS on behalf of Goodwill Industries of the Columbia has submitted a Special Permit Application (SP 2025-008) to operate a thrift store and employment/support services center, along with offices. The proposal is at 7511 Wrigley Dr. (Parcel # 116150071) in Pasco, WA 99301. The proposal is subject to regulations contained in the Pasco Municipal Code. 509-905-2604 / gundersona@pasco-wa.gov
Z2025-005 Webster Court Zone Change: Shane O'Neill on behalf of Webster Court, LLC has submitted a rezone application (Z 2025-005) from R-S-20 (Suburban) to R-1 (Low Density Residential) for one parcel with a size of approximately 1 acre, located at 2817 Road 84 (Parcel #118402034) in Pasco, WA 99301. The proposal is subject to regulations contained in the Pasco Municipal Code. Public Comment Period: Written comments must be submitted to the Community Development Department by 5:00 p.m. on July 9, 2025. Any interested party may submit comments, attend the meeting and/or give testimony, or request notice of the Hearing Examiner's decisions. Estimated Date of Decision: Hearing Examiner will render a Decision on the Special Permit Applications, and Recommendation to City Council on the Zoning Determination within ten (10) days of the public hearing.
