Edwards has applied to the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services, Bureau of Coastal Management for a permit to replace the decking, stringers, and handrails on the existing walkway and pierhead. To replace the existing 10' x 20' floating dock. To replace the existing ramp with a 4' x 24' aluminum ramp. To add a new 12.5' x 13' four-pile boatlift and to proposed as after-the-fact and relocate, the existing 7' x 12' floating boat storage structure. The purpose of the work is for private and recreational use, at 219 Dataw Drive, St. Helena Island, SC in Jenkins Creek.
