NOTICE OF RULE DEVELOPMENT BY Silver Palms West COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT In accord with Chapters 120 and 190, Florida Statutes, the Silver Palms West Community Development District ("District") hereby gives notice of its intention to adopt an Amended and Restated Rules of Procedure ("Amended Rules"), including, but not limited to, regulations pertaining to regulations governing the board of supervisors, officers, voting, meetings, District Manager, public records, decisions affecting substantial interests, rulemaking, bid protest procedure, procurement of goods, services, and contracts, and other provisions governing the operations of the District. The purpose and effect of the Amended Rules are to provide for updated, current, and consistent with applicable laws, authority of the board supervisors and effective District operations. Specific legal authority for the repeal of the existing General and Procedural Rules and adoption of the proposed Amended Rules, include Sections 190.011(5), 190.011(15), and 190.035, Florida Statutes.
