CITY OF ROCK HILL PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF ROCK HILL ZONING ORDINANCE The City of Rock Hill Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider recommendations to City Council on proposed amendments to the City of Rock Hill Zoning Ordinance at their meeting on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 155 Johnston Street. The proposed amendments to be heard and considered for recommendation to City Council are: MAP AMENDMENTS M-2025-09 Petition by Jacky Properties, LLC to rezone approximately 2.11 acres at 171, 183, and 197 Glenwood Dr. from Office and Institutional (OI) to Master Plan-Residential (MP-R). Tax Parcels 594-01-03-014, -008, and -011. M-2025-12 Petition by 742 North Anderson, LLC to annex and rezone approximately 2 acres at 742 and 745 N. Anderson Rd. from Urban Development (UD) in York County to Limited Commercial (LC) and Design Overlay District (DOD). Tax Parcels 664-00-00-005 & 664-00-00-030. The applications and supporting materials may be reviewed at www.cityofrockhill.com/planinfo or call 803-326-2456 for more information. Interested members of the public and adjoining landowners will have the opportunity to speak at the hearing. Written comments on the applications may be hand delivered to Rock Hill City Hall, Planning Commission,155 Johnston Street, or by mail to City of Rock Hill Planning & Development Department, Planning Commission, PO Box 11706, Rock Hill, SC 29731. The public hearing portion of the meeting can be viewed online at www.cityofrock hill.com/livestream. If the meeting is to be rescheduled for any reason, it will be held on the alternate date of Wednesday July 9, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. Notice of any change will be sent to the applicants and will be posted at City Hall and online at www.cityofrockhill.com/planinfo.
