NOTICE OF RULEMAKING BY
THE NORTH RIVER RANCH IMPROVEMENT STEWARDSHIP DISTRICT
A public hearing will be conducted by the Board of Supervisors of the North River Ranch Improvement Stewardship District ("District") on July 17, 2025, at 1:15 p.m. at 8141 Lakewood Main Street, Bradenton, Florida 34202.
In accordance with Chapter120, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 2020-191, Laws of Florida, the District hereby gives the public notice of its intent to adopt Rules Relating to Parking and Parking Enforcement ("Rule.") The public hearing will provide an opportunity for the public to address proposed Rule, which may be adjusted at the public hearing pursuant to discussion by the Board of Supervisors and public comment.
The purpose and effect of the Rule is to provide for efficient and effective District operations by setting policies, regulations, rates and fees. Legal authority for the District to adopt the proposed Rule includes Sections 6(20)(2) and 6(6)(e) of Chapter 2020-191, Laws of Florida and Sections 120.54, and 120.81, Florida Statutes. Prior Notice of Rule Development was published in The Bradenton Herald on June 15, 2025.
Any person who wishes to provide the District with a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative as provided by Section 120.541(1), Florida Statutes, must do so in writing within twenty-one (21) days after publication of this notice.
This public hearing may be continued to a date, time, and place to be specified on the record at the hearing. If anyone chooses to appeal any decision of the Board with respect to any matter considered at a public hearing held in response to a request for such a public hearing, such person will need a record of the proceedings and should accordingly ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.
