You are hereby summoned and required to Answer the Complaint in this action, a copy of which was duly filed in the office of the Clerk of Court of Common Pleas of Beaufort County, SC, on June 2, 2025; and to serve a copy of your Answer to the Complaint on the subscriber at his office at 800 Congress St, Beaufort, SC 29902, within thirty (30) days after the service hereof, exclusive of the day of service; and if you fail to answer the Complaint within the time aforesaid, the Plaintiff will apply to the Court and judgment by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.

TAKE NOTICE that the Summons, Lis Pendens (Notice of Pendency of Action), Complaint, Order Appointing Guardian ad Litem Nisi, Order of Publication and Notice to Defendants and Persons Under Disability were filed in the office of the Clerk of Court of Beaufort County, SC on June 2, 2025, Cherese T. Handy, 1011 Bay St, Suite 2B, Beaufort, SC 29902 was appointed Guardian ad Litem Nisi.

Notice is hereby given that an action has been commenced and is now pending in this Court upon the Complaint of the above Plaintiff against the Defendants to determine ownership of the real property located in Beaufort County, SC and described on Attachment A hereto.

ALL that parcel of real property situate on Port Royal Island in Beaufort County, SC containing 0.28 acres that is a portion of Lot 16, Section 32, Township 1 North Range 2 West of the USDTC survey which parcel is described as to metes, bounds, distances and directions on a plat prepared by David E. Gasque, SCRLS, on December 18, 2024 which plat is recorded in Plat Book 165 at Page 173 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Beaufort County, SC.
