NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Firebaugh Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at Andrew Firebaugh Community Center, 1655 13th Street, Firebaugh CA, on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 6:00 pm for the following application:
Site Plan Review Application (SPR) No. 2026-01 and Density Bonus. The project includes two (2) sites located at 1031 O Street, Firebaugh, CA 93622, and 1466 11th Street, Firebaugh, CA 93622, totaling approximately 0.95 acres. The project proposes the development of two (2) 3-story buildings that include a total of 38 apartment units, a ±1,377-square-foot (sf.) community space, and ±2,280-sf. commercial spaces. Project improvements would include landscaping, signage, parking (on-street), sidewalk, curb, gutter, trash enclosures, and lighting. Because 100 percent of the proposed residential units to be made available to lower-income households, the Project is eligible for a density bonus and associated benefits as defined in Government Code §§65915 - 65918) and the Firebaugh Municipal Code. The project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15332/Class 32 (Infill Development Projects) of the State CEQA Guidelines, as it has been determined that the project will not have a significant impact on the environment.
If approved by the Planning Commission, the Firebaugh City Council will conduct a public hearing at Andrew Firebaugh Community Center, 1655 13th Street, Firebaugh CA, on Monday, April 20, 2023, at 5:30 pm or as soon thereafter to consider the same project.
