NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASE FOR BELLE VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT 119 COUNTY OF ST. CLAIR, STATE OF ILLINOIS (Levy for Tax Year 2025, Payable in 2026, for Fiscal Year 2027) I. A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax levy increase for Belle Valley School District 119 for Tax Year 2025 will be held on Tuesday, De- cember 16, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at Belle Valley School, 2465 Amann Drive, Bel- leville, Illinois. II. The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended or abat- ed for Tax Year 2024 were $3,832,694. The proposed corporate and special purpose property taxes to be levied for Tax Year 2025 are $4,348,821. This represents a 13.47% increase over the previous year. III. The property taxes extended for debt service and public building com- mission leases for Tax Year 2024 were $2,267,379. The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service and public building commission leases for Tax Year 2025 are $2,267,263. This represents a 0.01% decrease over the previous year. IV. The total property taxes extended or abated for Tax Year 2024 were $6,100,073. The estimated total property taxes to be levied for Tax Year 2025 are $6,616,084. This represents an 8.46% increase over the previous year.
