As I prepare for my final black belt testing at Master Chang’s Martial Arts in Wesley Chapel, NC on Saturday, September 27, 2025, I reflect on the incredible journey Taekwondo has taken me on.
Taekwondo has taught me respect—learning to honor myself, my instructors, and my peers in every moment. It has fostered patience, encouraging me to persevere through challenges both in the dojang and in daily life. Most importantly, it has guided me in becoming a true leader, empowering me to set an example, offer support, and inspire others.
With deep gratitude, I celebrate these core values and the supportive community around me. I am proud to carry these lessons forward as I strive towards my black belt.
