Doris Alice Nelson and Oscar Landon Haynes were married on November 13, 1955 in Huntsville, AL. They have been blessed with four children, six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. O.L. is a retired electrical engineer who worked on the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo space programs. Doris is a retired bookkeeper and was the church pianist for Spruce Creek Baptist Church for 45 years. Together, they have sung at the Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, Times Square, and many other places around the world as part of the Florida Worship Choir. They have been to many other states and countries working with disaster relief, church construction, and missions work. They will tell you that the secret to a long marriage is God's grace, love, and forgiveness.
