Invitation to Bidders Centre County Government & Centre Hall Library, Owner invites bids for the construction of a new 2,915 sf addition consisting of miscellaneous demolition, concrete footings, concrete block foundations, concrete slabs, masonry walls, wood roof trusses, metal roofing, doors and hardware, vinyl and carpet tile flooring, painting, site improvements, HVAC, plumbing and electrical construction. BID DATE: The Centre Hall Library & Centre County Government will receive sealed bids until 1:00 PM, local prevailing time on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2026. Bids shall be delivered to 420 Holmes Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823, (Attn: Jason Moser), Room 242. Bids received after this time may not be accepted. Bids will be opened publicly, and Owner will give results upon notification of award to the successful contractor. Bids shall remain in effect for 90 days following the bid opening. PRE-BID MEETING: A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on site by the Architect on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, at 10 AM. BIDDING DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents, including Drawings and Project Manual will be on file at the office of the Architect, KTH Architects, 1741 Kiwanis Trail, DuBois, PA 15801. QUESTIONS: Inquiries, requests for information and requests for clarifications should be directed in writing to the Architect at cmaines@ktharch.com – No questions will receive a response if they are submitted later than seven (7) days prior to the bid date. No requests for substitutions will receive a response if they are submitted later than ten (10) days prior to the bid date. THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT to postpone or cancel receipt of bids, and to accept or to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part if the best interest of the Owner will be served thereby.
