CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS On Tuesday evening, October 20, 2026, at 7:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 200 South Main Street, Grapevine, Texas, the City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine will hold a public hearing to consider the following items: CU26-24; Sunbelt Rentals New Building – submitted by Darren Andrews with McAdams for property located at 1035 Texan Trail, proposed to be platted as Lot 2A1, Block 2, Airport Crossing JV Wells. This site was previously approved for zone change Z26-01 to rezone 5.132 acres from "CC", Community Commercial District to "BP", Business Park District to expand the existing Sunbelt Rentals site and conditional use permit CU26-05 to expand the existing sales and rental of heavy equipment and machinery use and to allow for six, Level 2, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The applicant is requesting a conditional use permit to allow for the construction of a 33,880 sq. ft. building (Building 6) and a battery storage pad adjacent to Building 4. The property is zoned "BP", Business Park District and is owned by Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. CU26-26; AJ's on Main - submitted by Arlie John Gillinger, Jr with AJ's on Main for property located at 651 South Main Street, platted as Lot 15R, Block 15, City of Grapevine. The site was previously approved for conditional use permit CU15-30 (Ord. 2015-045 for the possession, storage, retail sales and on-premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, and mixed beverages) and to allow additional outside dining in conjunction with a restaurant. The applicant is requesting modifications to the exterior building elevations, additional covered outdoor seating, other site layout improvements, and the possession, storage, retail sales and on- and off- premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine and mixed beverages) in conjunction with a restaurant. The property is zoned "CBD", Central Business District and is owned by AJ's on Main. CU26-27; Kubota Training Facility - submitted by Reid Stone with Stantec Architecture, Inc. for property located at 1000 Kubota Drive, platted as Lot 1, Block 1, Kubota Addition. The site was previously approved for conditional use permit CU19-21 (Ord. 2019-052) to exceed the maximum building height of 50 feet in the "CC", Community Commercial District, specifically to allow for a parking garage. The applicant is requesting a conditional use permit to allow for the construction of a 28,825 sq. ft. training facility on the existing Kubota campus and for the addition of two (2) Level 2, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The property is zoned "CC", Community Commercial District and is owned by Kubota North America Corporation. CU26-30; Hotel Vin Seasonal Greenhouse and Vestibule - submitted by Tina Newton with Coury Hospitality for property located at 215 East Dallas Road and 815 South Main Street, platted as Lot 1, Block 1, Grapevine Main. The site was previously approved for conditional use permit CU17-20 (Ord. 2017-070) to establish a hotel and restaurant with the possession, storage, retail sale and on-premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, and mixed beverages). The applicant is requesting two temporary, seasonal improvements to Hotel Vin and Harvest Hall: a winter vestibule to be located at the northeastern entry door to Harvest Hall; and a seasonal greenhouse structure along the hotel's northern elevation. As part of the proposal, the applicant requests to allow the possession, storage, retail sales and on- premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (mixed beverages, beer and wine) inside of the greenhouse structure. The property is zoned "GU", Governmental Use District and is owned by the City of Grapevine. HL26-02; 404 West Hudgins Street – submitted by Eddie and Toni Eckart for property located at 404 West Hudgins Street, proposed to be platted as Lot F-A1, Block 42, Willis Subdivision. The applicant is requesting designation as a Historical Landmark sub-district. Such sub-district may include buildings, land, areas, or districts of historical, architectural, archaeological or cultural importance or value that merit protection, enhancement, and preservation in the interest of the culture, prosperity, education, and welfare of the people. The property is currently zoned "R-5.0", Zero-Lot-Line District and is owned by Edward Eckart. After all parties have been given an opportunity to speak, the public hearing will be closed and the Commission and the City Council will deliberate the pending matters.
