ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 6224 PACIFIC HIGHWAY E SIDEWALK GAP COMPLETION PROJECT CITY OF FIFE, WASHINGTON FEDERAL AID NO. TAPUL-0099(153) Notice is hereby given that the City of Fife will receive sealed bids for the following construction project. Bids will be received inside Fife City Hall, located at 5411 23rd Street E, Fife, WA 98424, up to the hour of 1:00 p.m., on Monday, August 24, 2026, after which, all bids will be publicly opened and read to determine the apparent lowest bidder. The project consists of curb, sidewalk, and landscape buffer construction, ADA-compliant curb ramps and a driveway approach. Street trees, lawn and streetlight modifications will be provided in the landscape buffer. New catch basins will be added along the new curb line. HMA roadway paving will occur in the bike lane to tie to the new curb line. Work also consists of channelization for a buffered bike lane. The Contracting Agency has established an FSBE Goal for this Contract in the amount of 15%. Bid Bonds submitted on other than the bond form provided by the City may be subject to rejection. Faxed bids and/or surety bond will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the outside clearly marked "sealed bid" with the bid opening date and time, and the project name as it appears in this invitation and the name and address of the bidder.
