SCHOOL DISTRICT OF MANATEE COUNTY PURCHASING DEPARTMENT PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FOR COMPLETE ENGINEERING SERVICES PROJECT NAME: Bayshore High School HVAC Renovation and CTE Addition PROJECT LOCATION: Manatee County REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: The School District of Manatee County is accepting statements of qualifications from firms for complete Engineering Services for Bayshore High School HVAC Renovation and CTE Addition: The scope of work includes but is not limited to the renovation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; replacement or repair to impacted interior finishes; the optimization of energy efficiency; replacement of the kitchen server; enhancement to campus security; improvements to site features; and a Career and Technical Education (CTE) addition. The campus was constructed in 1997 with core facilities for 2,354 student stations. The campus consists of six (6) classroom buildings totaling 274,658 sf. Repair of over 300 corroded steel pipe columns is occurring in 2026. The project will be on an occupied campus and phased in a manner to ensure staff safety. The total project budget is estimated at $56,655,255.00. The applicant must be certified to perform work in the State of Florida at the time of application. Further, if a corporation, the applicant must be registered by the Department of State, Division of Corporations, to operate in the State of Florida at the time of the application. The selection will be made in accordance with the current State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF), as may be amended, Florida Statute 287.055, and the School District of Manatee County's procedures and criteria.
