Project: Marine Drive Bulkhead Replacement Permit No: 2026011 Hearing Date & Time: 10:00 AM June 17, 2026. The meeting will be conducted virtually using Microsoft Teams. Meeting ID: 279 806 874 345 148 Passcode: vY9iy32q Purpose: Hearing to consider a proposal by the Port of Bellingham for a shoreline substantial development permit with conditional use authorization to repair and replace the existing timber bulkhead along the south side of the Marine Drive jetty between Starfish Pier and Jorgensen Pier. The project will install a new sheet pile bulkhead running along the south side of the jetty, underneath Jorgensen Pier, then wrap around the western jetty corner to prevent erosion. The overwater structure will be replaced or repaired to maintain public access to the pier from Marine Drive, and the portion of Marine Drive atop the jetty will be reconstructed and improved.
