Benbrook LOMR Notification The City of Benbrook's Department of Public Services, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the City's intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between Aledo Rd and Vista Way, southwest of I-20. Specifically, the flood hazard information will be revised along Walnut Creek 2 from a point approximately 780 feet upstream of the I-20 crossing to a point approximately 339 feet upstream of the Mercedes Street bridge. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of the Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) Case No. 25-06-2755P for a project along Walnut Creek 2. City Street Residential has constructed a multi-family residential community as part of the Creekside Apartments development. This application will revise the following flood hazards along Walnut Creek 2: The 1 – percent – annual - chance water - surface elevations will increase and decrease along Walnut Creek 2 within the area of revision. The 1-percent-annual-chance floodplain will both widen and narrow along Walnut Creek 2 within the area of revision. The floodway will both widen and narrow along Walnut Creek 2 within the area of revision.
