Advertisement for Bids General Notice Aqua North Carolina, Inc. (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Idlewood Acres Water Main Replacement W.K. Dickson Project No. 20240192.00.WK Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at Aqua North Carolina, Inc. located at 202 MacKenan Drive, Cary, NC 27511, until Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: • Construction of approximately 600 linear feet of 4-inch PVC pipe and restrained joint PVC pipe (RJPVC) by open cut and trenchless installation, including all valves, fittings, and appurtenances as illustrated on the construction plans and described in the specifications. • Construction of approximately 1,500 linear feet of 2-inch PVC pipe by open cut and trenchless installation, including all valves, fittings, and appurtenances as illustrated on the construction plans and described in the specifications. • Cut-in connection to existing water system as illustrated on the construction plans. • Abandonment of approximately 2,100 linear feet of existing 2-inch water main. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All payments are to be made to Duncan Parnell. Prospective Bidders must register and purchase Bidding Documents through the designated website in order to be considered an official plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
