NOTICE OF SERVICE OF PROCESS BY PUBLICATION STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, COUNTY OF MECKLENBURG IN THE GENERAL COURT OF JUSTICE, SUPERIOR COURT DIVISION 25CV058314-590 FOUNDERS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, Plaintiff, vs. EDISON R. RODRIGUEZ MORA A/K/A EDISON RAFAEL RODRIGUEZ MORA, Defendant. TAKE NOTICE that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed in the above-entitled action. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows: On or about July 15, 2019, Edison R. Rodriguez Mora a/k/a Edison Rafael Rodriguez Mora ("Defendant") executed a Consumer Lending Plan (the "Consumer Lending Plan") with Founders Federal Credit Union ("Plaintiff"). Thereafter, subject to the Consumer Lending Plan, on or about October 29, 2020, Plaintiff extended a line of credit (the "LOC") to Defendant as shown on a Preferred No Frills Visa Application and MasterCard terms and conditions (the "LOC Note"). Defendant failed to make payments when due on the Consumer Lending Plan, the LOCm and the LOC Note. After providing all credits due to Defendant on the Consumer Lending Plan, the LOC, and the LOC Note, Defendant owes Plaintiff the sum of no less than $457.84, plus interest accruing thereon from and after the date of judgment at the lower of the maximum legal rate or the rate of the LOC Note until paid and attorney's fees, pursuant to the Consumer Lending Plan, the LOC, the LOC Note, and N.C. Gen. Stat. § 6-21.2 in the amount of $68.68, which is 15% of the amount due under the Consumer Lending Plan, the LOC, and the LOC Note. Thereafter, subject to the Consumer Lending Plan, on or about May 9, 2023, Plaintiff advanced funds to Defendant as shown on a Security Agreement and Advance Receipt (the "First Note"). Defendant failed to make payments when due on the Consumer Lending Plan and the First Note. After providing all credits due to Defendant on the Consumer Lending Plan and the First Note, Defendant owes Plaintiff the sum of no less than $21,791.90, plus interest accruing thereon at the rate of $7.48 per day from and after September 24, 2025 until the date of judgment, and thereafter at the lower of the maximum legal rate or the rate of the First Note until paid and attorney's fees, pursuant to the Consumer Lending Plan, the First Note, and N.C. Gen. Stat. § 6-21.2 in the amount of $3,268.79, which is 15% of the amount due under the Consumer Lending Plan and the First Note. Thereafter, subject to the Consumer Lending Plan, on or about January 23, 2024, Plaintiff advanced funds to Defendant as shown on a Consumer Lending Plan Advance Receipt and Truth-in-Lending Statement (the "Second Note"). Defendant failed to make payments when due on the Consumer Lending Plan and the Second Note. After providing all credits due to Defendant on the Consumer Lending Plan and the Second Note, Defendant owes Plaintiff the sum of no less than $14,556.26, plus interest accruing thereon at the rate of $6.24 per day from and after September 24, 2025 until the date of judgment, and thereafter at the lower of the maximum legal rate or the rate of the Second Note until paid and attorney's fees, pursuant to the Consumer Lending Plan, the Second Note, and N.C. Gen. Stat. § 6-21.2 in the amount of $2,183.44, which is 15% of the amount due under the Consumer Lending Plan and the Second Note. You are required to make defense to such pleading no later than March 4, 2026, said date being 40 days from the date of first publication of this notice, and upon your failure to do so the party seeking service against you will apply to the court for the relief sought.
