NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The River Valley Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging, 710 Front Avenue, Suite A, Columbus, Georgia 31901 is requesting proposals from potential applicants for a contract and/or contracts to provide Evidence Based Programs in the following counties: Chattahoochee, Clay, Crisp, Dooly, Harris, Macon, Marion, Muscogee, Quitman, Randolph, Schley, Stewart, Sumter, Talbot, Taylor, and Webster.
Evidence Based Programs include, but are not limited to: Matter of Balance, Chronic Disease Self-Management, and Diabetes Self-Management.
All applicants must complete a Request for Proposal (bid packet) to be considered. Proposals may be submitted for one or more services to begin July 1, 2026 and concluding June 30, 2027. A one-year contract will be awarded, beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027 containing a contingency clause permitting renewal for each year of the remaining contract based upon satisfactory performance.

A bidder's conference will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 1:00pm until 2:00pm at River Valley Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging at 710 Front Ave., Suite A, Columbus, GA 31901.
A Unit Cost Methodology Training will also be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at River Valley Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging at 710 Front Ave., Suite A, Columbus, GA 31901.
Completed RFPs will be received until Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at River Valley Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging at 710 Front Avenue, Suite A, Columbus, GA 31901. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
Proposers will be notified in writing of the RFP decision no later than January 20, 2026. Contract is contingent upon River Valley Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging receiving funds from the Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Aging Services.
