CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE CREATION OF A TAX INCREMENT REINVESTMENT ZONE Pursuant to Section 311.003 of the Texas Tax Code, as amended, notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas ("City"), will hold a public hearing that will start at or after 6:00 p.m. on November 11, 2025, at the regular meeting place of the City Council of the City in the City Council Chamber in Fort Worth City Hall located at 100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas, 76102, on the creation of a tax increment reinvestment zone to be known as Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 18 (Walsh Ranch) (the "Zone") and its benefits to the City of Fort Worth and to provide a reasonable opportunity for any owner of property within the proposed Zone to protest the inclusion of their property within the proposed Zone. The proposed Zone contains approximately 7,191.562 acres of land generally located north of Aledo Road, south of White Settlement Road, east of Farmer Road and F.M. 1187, and west of Interstate 820 and State Highway 377, within the extraterritorial jurisdiction and corporate limits of the City within Parker and Tarrant Counties, Texas. A map depicting the boundaries of the proposed Zone and a boundary description of the land to be included within the proposed Zone are available for public inspection during regular business hours of the City in the office of the City Secretary in City Hall located on the 7th floor of 100 Fort Worth Trail, Fort Worth, Texas, 76102. At the public hearing, any interested person may speak for or against the inclusion of property within the proposed Zone, the creation of the proposed Zone, its boundaries and/or the concept of tax increment financing. Following the public hearing, the Fort Worth City Council will consider adopting an ordinance creating the Zone and other matters related to tax increment financing within the Zone. Written and oral objections will be considered at the hearing. If you would like to speak at the public hearing, you must sign up prior to 4:00 pm on November 11, 2025 (i) online at https://fortworthgov.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx by clicking on the applicable agenda item, (ii) by email at csoadmin@fortworthtexas.gov, or (iii) by phone at 817-392-6150. If a speaker wishes to use electronic media, the deadline to submit media is 5:00 pm the day before the applicable meeting. There is no requirement that any property owners attend or speak at the public hearing. You can submit any written objections or concerns about this Zone to the contact listed at the bottom of this notice, which should be submitted prior to the date of the applicable hearing to ensure adequate time for written comments to be received and distributed for proper consideration.
