NOTICE OF CURRENT 2025-26 SECURED PROPERTY TAXES DUE (Made pursuant to Section 2609, Revenue and Taxation Code) I, Donna Riley, Stanislaus County Tax Collector, hereby announce that the annual secured tax bills will be mailed on or before November 1, 2025, to all property owners, at the addresses shown on the tax roll. If you own property in Stanislaus County, the county listed in this notice, and do not receive a tax bill by November 10, contact the Tax Collector's office at 1010 Tenth Street – Suite 2500, Modesto, CA 95354, by phone at (209) 525-6388, or by email at taxes@stancounty.com. Failure to receive a tax bill does not relieve the taxpayer of the responsibility to make timely payments. The FIRST INSTALLMENT of the 2025-26 property taxes is due and payable on November 1, 2025 and will become delinquent if not paid by 5:00 p.m. on December 10, 2025; thereafter a 10% penalty will be added. The SECOND INSTALLMENT of the 2025-26 property taxes is due and payable on February 1, 2026 and will become delinquent if not paid by 5:00 p.m. on April 10, 2026; thereafter a 10% penalty will be added plus the $10.00 cost to prepare the delinquent tax records and to give notice of delinquency. BOTH INSTALLMENTS MAY BE PAID when the first installment is due. Payments may be made by mail, sending payment to Stanislaus County Tax Collector, P.O. Box 859, Modesto, CA 95353. Mailed payments must be POSTMARKED BY THE DELINQUENT DATE to avoid late penalties. The postmarks by U S Postal Service or shipment with an IRS designated independent delivery service such as UPS, FedEx only are accepted as valid Postmarks. Private Postal meter dates, pre-canceled stamp dates and no USPS postmarks are considered late if received after the delinquent date/s. Please mail early to avoid delinquent penalties. Payments may also be made in person at the Stanislaus County Tax Collector's office located at 1010 Tenth Street – Suite 2500, Modesto, CA 95354, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.
