Baumann's Celebrate 70 Years Together Dorsey (Pete) and Betty Baumann Celebrating 70 years of marriage on April 2, 2025 Pete was raised in a farming family in Prosser and later Spokane, Washington. Betty was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. It was a blind date that brought them together. Pete and Betty met at a dental fraternity mixer while Pete was attending dental school at Washington University in St. Louis. They wed on April 2, 1955, at Grace Methodist Church in St. Louis, Missouri. They moved to Kennewick, Washington, in 1958. Pete bought a dental practice in downtown, later relocating to the corner of Yelm and Highway 395 in Kennewick. Pete worked as a general dentist for 35 years in Kennewick. Pete and Betty are blessed with four children: Cynthia, Marc, Eric (Venera), and Amy (Aaron), three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Retirement years brought them many travel opportunities, including numerous church and philanthropic endeavors together with their shared focus on their friends and community. Congratulations to Pete and Betty for 70 wonderful years together!
