TION DESIGNATING BROWNFIELD AREA PURSUANT TO SECTION 376.80, FLORIDA STATUTES
The Town of Cutler Bay will hold a public hearing(s) on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, virtually via ZOOM and in the Town Hall Council Chambers, 10720 Caribbean Boulevard, Cutler Bay, Florida. Interested parties may appear in person or virtually via ZOOM and be heard with respect to the proposed Resolutions. Any person wishing to address the Town Council on any item at this hearing(s) can also call (786) 635-1003, Zoom Meeting ID: 867 7902 5196 prior to the item being heard. The purpose of the public hearing(s) is to consider the adoption of the Resolutions described below: A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CUT- LER BAY, FLORIDA, DESIGNATING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 21900 SW 97TH AV- ENUE, CUTLER BAY, MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA 33189 AND IDENTIFIED BY FOLIO NO. 36-6016-027-0010, AS A BROWNFIELD AREA PURSUANT TO SEC- TION 376.80(2)(A), FLORIDA STATUTES, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REHABILITA- TION AND PROMOTING ECONOMIC REDEVELOPMENT; AUTHORIZING THE TOWN CLERK TO NOTIFY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION OF SAID DESIGNATION; PROVIDING FOR AUTHORIZATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
The Town Council may continue or defer the hearing(s) to a new date and time certain without further notice provided the date and time of the continuance or deferral is announced at the hearing(s). The Resolutions in their entirety may be inspected at the Office of the Town Clerk during regular business hours.
Persons wishing to appeal any decision made by the Town Council with respect to any matter considered at such hearing(s) will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105). Any and all interested parties may appear at the above meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed items. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), persons needing special accommodations to participate in these proceedings should contact the Town Clerk’s Office for assistance at (305) 234-4262, no later than four (4) business days prior to such proceeding.
